DJI FlightHub 2 Analyzer tool goes live

New functionality adds powerful capabilities for remote and automated drone operations, including for construction and infrastructure management.

DJI has unveiled the FlightHub 2 Analyzer tool, bringing a powerful new solution to automated and remote AEC drone operations.

Key features include design file import, timelines, and measurement calculations.

It also comes with a drag-and-drop automated workflow builder, enabling users to configure the end-to-end process - covering data capture, modelling, measurement, analysis, and report generation - on a recurring schedule, with minimal manual intervention.

The new features landed on June 26, 2025, as part of a firmware release for FlightHub 2.

When integrated with DJI Dock 3, FlightHub 2 now enables a closed-loop workflow, from automated drone data capture and cloud-based 3D modelling, to advanced analysis.

The update helps to directly address critical needs within the AEC industry, including visual and schedule progress tracking, site safety oversight, regulatory compliance verification, and operational efficiency enhancement.

Currently, the Analyzer tool has been released for the public version of FlightHub 2.

DJI FlightHub 2 Analyzer: Top features

So, let's look at the Analyzer tool's top features.

Measurement and Calculation

Measurement and calculation tools can be created in the Analyzer, enabling line and volume measurements based on models and design files.

  • Line Measurement: Supports triangulation and gradient measurements and allows extraction of cross-sections.

  • Volume Measurement: Supports current model volume calculation, as well as two-phase and multi-phase model volume change calculations.

Timelines

FlightHub 2 Analyzer introduces the Timeline feature.

This allows users to view and monitor the model evolution process and intuitively track project progress.

It also supports the ability to view a media timeline, ideal for viewing media files by time and spatial dimensions for visual traceability and process management.

Design file support

DJI FlightHub 2 Analyzer allows users to upload design files and align them with drone-generated 3D models through flexible coordinate transformation tools.

This allows for precise overlays of blueprints and reality capture models, making it easy to identify deviations and resolve issues early in the project lifecycle.

This feature brings:

  • Support for PDF and DXF formats. Design files can be accurately positioned on the map via coordinate system conversion or matching point calibration.

  • Support for parsing 3DFACE (DXF) to obtain design heights for cross-section and volume calculations.

Analysis reports

Thanks to the update, FlightHub 2 now supports the generation of measurement analysis reports - featuring configurable report covers, measurement areas, and other structured content.

The platform also supports report templates, scheduled automatic report generation, and email delivery, facilitating progress tracking, data archiving, and reporting.

DJI FlightHub 2: Automated workflow

DJI FlightHub 2's new automated workflow tool enables users to configure an end-to-end process, from data capture to analysis.

This includes:

  • Full Process Integration: Integrates flight, mapping, measurement, calculation, and analysis tasks for end-to-end automation from data collection to intelligent analysis.

  • Flexible Task Management: Choose from existing tasks or create new ones, with support for editing and linking to meet different scenario requirements.

  • Efficient Preview and Performance: Preview task results with one click, quickly save, and enable automation to improve operational efficiency.

Summary

This new update for FlightHub 2 brings additional functionality to industries such as infrastructure development, natural resource management, and mining.

The data analysis capabilities can also benefit the likes of emergency response, inspection, and urban management.
