What’s New in the DJI FlightHub 2 Firmware Update
The update adds multimodal LLM support for faster detections and searches, alongside upgrades to the virtual cockpit, multi-aircraft control, dashboards, planning, and data workflows.
Here's a look at the new updates and additions to FlightHub 2, with screenshots of the feature in action.

Multimodal LLM
The latest FlightHub 2 update introduces multimodal LLM integration, adding a new layer of intelligence to drone operations.
This feature allows detection and alerts to be triggered instantly from either text or image input, without the need for training.

Operators can search through vast datasets of drone-captured imagery and video with far greater speed and accuracy, with efficiency up to 80 times higher than manual review.
By combining advanced language and visual processing, the multimodal LLM enables smarter inspections, faster incident response, and more effective data management.
Results are saved directly to flight records, ensuring every detection is logged, traceable, and easy to review.
Virtual cockpit interface
The all-new Virtual Cockpit Interface features a redesigned interface, offering a complete visual and interactive optimisation for a more intuitive experience.
Users can customise the layout with new options to suit their needs, while a brand-new icon set provides a cleaner, more refined look for improved clarity.

The user experience has also been optimised with streamlined interactions to make operations faster, smoother, and more intuitive.
Multi-aircraft control in Virtual Cockpit
Multi-Aircraft Control in Virtual Cockpit lets one operator manage multiple aircraft for collaborative tasks through the new control panel.

It also allows instant switching between different aircraft, making it easier to oversee multiple drones within the same mission.
AR projection
AR Projection now supports virtual lines and areas, improving situational awareness by displaying them directly in the live view from DJI Pilot 2.
Dashboard
The new Dashboard provides a centralised hub for viewing key operational data at a glance. Designed for administrators, it delivers high-level insights to support effective management, with the ability to track assets, device status, task schedules, and data outputs.

Smart media search
Smart Media Search makes it easier to find what you need by automatically detecting and tagging objects in your photos and videos. Search results can also be exported as detailed reports for sharing, documentation, or further analysis.

This feature is located in the media panel.

Organisation data management
Organisation Data Management allows administrators to oversee information across the entire organisation, with the ability to view and copy annotations, flight routes, models, and GEO Zones between projects.

Batch editing waypoint routes
Batch Editing Waypoint Routes saves time by enabling multiple waypoints to be modified at once. Operators can now adjust waypoint parameters and actions simultaneously in the Flight Route Editor.

Use shift click to batch edit waypoitns.

Centralised message centre
The Centralised Message Centre brings all notifications together in one place. Users can view historical system messages and customise which alerts they receive in their personal settings.

Ground control points for mapping
Cloud reconstruction now supports image control points, while standard targets enable automatic piercing and reconstruction for improved mapping accuracy.
DJI FlightHub 2 On-Prem updates
DJI FlightHUb 2 On-Premises users can now import custom offline elevation data downloaded from the DJI Developer website.
This update also introduces a feature comparison table that highlights the differences between the Public Cloud and On-Premises versions.
