DJI FlightHub 2 update: June 10, 2025

DJI FlightHub 2 update: June 10, 2025

A new update has been released for DJI FlightHub 2, bringing enhanced AI functionality, live flight controls for the DJI Matrice 4D Series, and support for the DJI M400 drone.

DJI has released an update for FlightHub 2, bringing expanded AI capabilities, additional flight support, and compatibility with the new DJI M400 drone.

Key features of the update, released on June 10, 2025, include:

AI capabilities support

Patrol routes are now available. This enables users to specify areas for inspection, and the system can automatically identify people, vehicles, and boats within the patrol area using intelligent recognition algorithms and send alert notifications.

The update enables Virtual Cockpit to support real-time AI recognition of people, vehicles, and boats. It can automatically send alerts based on infrared video streams.

On top of this, FlightHub's media file library now supports displaying, viewing, and sharing AI-generated videos on the aircraft, showcasing AI-recognition results.

Live flight controls support

Support has been added for live flight controls for the DJI Matrice 4D Series aircraft when connected via a remote controller.

Users can also now issue return-to-home commands to all aircraft within a project with a single click.

DJI FlightHub 2 support for DJI Matrice 400

DJI FlightHub 2 now supports the new DJI M400. This includes:

  • FlyTo tasks are now available for M400.

  • Adds support to remotely control Matrice 400 gimbal camera and PSDK accessories.

  • Adds support for flight route planning for M400.

Management of algorithms on aircraft

Users can now load third-party algorithms distributed from the DJI Developer website onto aircraft connected to Docks via the Algorithms page.

FlightHub sync

FlightHub Sync Beta has been upgraded to FlightHub Sync. Users can synchronise project media files, flight routes, flight records, and other information to external storage buckets.

Extra updates

Other features as part of the update include:

  • Flight records now support compatibility with DJI Dock 2

  • When distributing tasks, the system checks the flight route's historical obstacle-sensing records and prompts if any exist. If obstacle sensing is triggered during recurring or continuous tasks, subsequent tasks are automatically suspended and must be manually resumed to ensure safety.

  • Adds support for automatic association of abnormal feedback with Dock or aircraft logs. After selecting the time, data is automatically matched and the error code field is filled in to improve problem analysis efficiency.

  • Supports remote switching between FlightHub public and on-premises environments for Docks.
