DJI launches FlyCart 100 delivery drone

DJI FlyCart 100 is a heavy-lift cargo drone. With dual batteries, it has a 85kg maximum payload capacity, and is equipped with intelligent cargo handling capabilities.

DJI has officially launched the FlyCart 100, its most powerful cargo drone to date, setting a new benchmark for industrial aerial logistics.

Unveiled to the Chinese market earlier this year, DJI has just announced its release to a wider global audience. Contact Heliguy for more details about the drone and regulatory support.

The FlyCart 100 is engineered for mission-critical operations, particularly in challenging environments.

With a maximum takeoff weight of 170kg, it can carry a 100kg payload capacity with a single battery, or 85kg payload with dual batteries.

FlyCart 100 has two methods of carrying cargo - a new flagship winch system with an electric hook. It is also compatible with the DJI Dual-Battery Lifting System, offering flexibility for various delivery scenarios.

It can achieve up to 12km maximum flight distance with a 149.9kg take-off weight.

For safety, it is equipped with a new LiDAR millimeter-wave radar and Penta-Vision system, enabling comprehensive environment awareness. It also has an integrated parachute, slowing the touchdown speed to 7m/s.

The drone - which supports ultra-fast charging with a C12000 charger or D14000iE generator - is rated IP55. It can handle wind speeds up to 12 m/s and can function in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 40°C. FlyCart 100 can also reach altitudes up to 6,000 metres.

Operators can manage missions using the RC Plus 2 controller, featuring a 7-inch high-brightness display and supports Dual Controller Mode.

The aircraft can be used with the new DJI Delivery app, which enables pilots to operate the FC100 wth their controller, and includes new features such as A-B Route Operation Mode and AR Display.

Meanwhile, DJI DeliveryHub serves as a one-stop air delivery management platform, including efficient operation planning, comprehensive operation status monitoring, and centralised team resource management.

FlyCart 100 can be customised to support PSDK and high-power interfaces for third-party payloads.

The FlyCart 100 follows the DJI FlyCart 30 - and brings several key upgrades, including heavier payload capacity.

The FlyCart 100's Winch System has also been significantly upgraded compared to DJI FC30. Its structure has been redesigned, it adopts a dual-motor mode, features a longer internal cable length, higher motor power, faster deployment and retrieval speed, and adds an electric hook function.
