How to Easy ACRO

When paired with DJI RC Motion 3, DJI Avata 2 provides users with an Easy ACRO function that adds more fun to fly.

  1. Enable Easy ACRO mode: Pair the DJI Avata 2 with the DJI RC Motion 3, then open the shortcut menu from the FPV view and select Easy ACRO. The aircraft will now operate in Easy ACRO mode.

  2. Perform Easy ACRO functions safely: Ensure you are flying in an open environment to maintain safety while using Easy ACRO features.

  3. Switch between ACRO functions: After takeoff, use the dial on the motion controller to switch between Easy ACRO functions, including 180° Drift and Flip.

  4. Use Slide-in normal flight modes: With Easy ACRO enabled, you can also perform Slide manoeuvres in normal flight modes. Slide allows the aircraft to ascend, descend, or move horizontally left, right, up, or down.

Slide

  1. Ascend or descend: With Slide selected, push the joystick up to make the aircraft ascend or push it down to descend.

  2. Move horizontally: Push the joystick left or right to move the aircraft horizontally in the corresponding direction.

180° drift

  1. Rotate 180°: With 180° Drift selected, push the joystick left to rotate the aircraft 180° to the left or push it right to rotate 180° to the right.

  2. Drift while moving forward: When pressing the accelerator to fly forward, push the joystick left or right to rotate the aircraft 180° in the desired direction.

  3. Maintain the drift: Continue pressing the accelerator during the drift until the aircraft stops automatically. If the accelerator is not pressed, the aircraft will stop drifting.

  4. Emergency brake: Press the lock button once to immediately brake and hover in case of an emergency.

Flip

  1. Check altitude: The aircraft can perform a flip only when its altitude is greater than 1.5 metres.

  2. Perform a front or backflip: Push the joystick up to perform a front flip or down to perform a backflip.

  3. Perform a roll: Push the joystick left to roll the aircraft to the left or right to roll it to the right.

  4. Enjoy more manoeuvres: With Easy ACRO enabled, front flips, backflips and rolls are simple to execute, adding even more excitement to your flights.
