Police find missing woman with DJI thermal drone

Kent Police drone pilot PC Andy Green utilised the drone’s thermal (IR) camera and AI functionality to locate her, before using the DJI AL1 Spotlight to direct officers to the scene.

In 2025, the Force's drone pilots attended 1,100+ callouts, including helping to locate 16 missing people, 58 suspected criminals, and 22 stolen vehicles/other property.
