DJI Avata Controllers

Unlock manual FPV mode with the DJI FPV Remote Controller.

The DJI Avata is compatible with the new DJI RC Motion 2, the original DJI Motion Controller, and the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2.

Use the DJI RC Motion 2 or original Motion Controller to control the aircraft by your natural hand movements for an intuitive flight experience. The drone can be flown in Normal (N) and Sport (S) flight assisted modes with the motion controllers.

Both controllers are available in various DJI Avata/goggles combos and separately.

The DJI RC Motion 2 has several upgrades on the DJI Motion Controller, including a new joystick for enhanced flight control.

To fly in manual mode for complete and limitless control, use the dedicated DJI FPV Remote Controller 2. This controller is available separately.

RC Motion 2

The DJI RC Motion 2 provides convenient and responsive control to enable you to enjoy the fun of motion-based flight control.

When used with DJI Avata and DJI Goggles, the aircraft's flight direction will respond to your hand movements, delivering an immersive flight experience.

Compared to the original DJI Motion Controller, the DJI RC Motion 2 has several key upgrades:

  • New independent joystick for height control and left-right horizontal flight control;
  • The accelerator supports backward flight control through being pushed forward;
  • The new FN dial can be used to control camera parameters, UI interaction, and more on the goggles.

The RC Motion 2 is compatible with the DJI Avata. It is also compatible with the DJI Goggles Integra, DJI Goggles 2, and DJI FPV Goggles V2.

DJI Motion Controller

DJI Motion Controller works like a joystick for the aircraft, supporting intuitive controls where your natural hand movements control the motion of the drone.

Controls are easy to use and provide a unique way to fly. Squeeze the trigger for a burst of speed and turn corners with a swivel of the wrist.

DJI FPV Remote Controller

DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 is the standard RC developed for the DJI FPV Drone and can also be used with DJI Avata.

Fly in Manual mode with DJI FPV Remote Controller to achieve advanced flight movements, stable aerial photography effects, and unlock the full power of DJI Avata.

  • Hall effect joystick for ultra-accurate control.
  • Ultra low latency transmission system - down to 7ms.
  • 9 hour battery life.
  • Up to 6km (CE) transmission range.

DJI Virtual Flight app available for both computer and smartphone to allow pilots to master their manual mode skills on the physical remote controller before they connect to their drone.

DJI FPV Goggles

Pick your perfect goggles for an optimum FPV drone experience

The DJI Avata is compatible with the new DJI Goggles Integra, the DJI Goggles 2, and the older generation DJI FPV Goggles V2.

DJI Image Stabilisation

RockSteady 2.0 and HorizonSteady keep your footage stable as you swoop and dive with DJI Avata.

RockSteady 2.0

RockSteady 2.0 actively reduces camera shake in real-time.

HorizonSteady

HorizonSteady locks your footage to a level horizon for cinematic effects.

Built-in Propeller Guards

DJI Avata was designed with a built-in propeller guard. This revolutionary new FPV design means that if Avata comes in contact with an object, it can bounce back, stay in the air, and can keep on flying.

Turtle Mode

If DJI Avata ends up on its back, activate Turtle mode with a few taps and watch it spring back into action like nothing happened.

Downward Obstacle Sensing System

In addition to the built-in propeller guard, Avata features downward binocular vision and ToF infrared sensing for even greater safety. These sensors detect obstacles below and allow Avata to perform low-altitude or indoor flight.

Low-Altitude Flight

DJI Avata can use its downward vision system to perform low-altitude flights just above the ground, combining the super-wide FOV and high-end camera to create a unique one-of-a-kind shooting perspective.

Halt and Hover

Use the Emergency Brake button if you come across a situation you don't feel comfortable flying through.

Avata will come to an abrupt stop and hover in place, reducing the risk of potential accidents and allowing you to plan your next manoeuvre.

Confined Space Inspection

Safe and efficient inspections with DJI Avata

DJI Avata is a fully featured and capable drone for confined space inspection tasks.

Built-in, consumer-replaceable, propeller guards allow DJI Avata to bounce back if it makes contact with an object, and turtle mode will allow the drone to self-right itself if it gets stuck upside down.

First-Person View Goggles allow operators to inspect detail and plan manoeuvres with total immersion and the downward obstacle sensing system assists with safe low-altitude or indoor flight.

Switch to manual-mode flight with DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 (sold separately) to unlock the full power of DJI Avata.
