Do I need training to conduct a drone inspection?
Drone training depends on the type of drone you plan to fly and where you will operate it.
The A2 CofC (for drones up to 2kg) and GVC (for drones up to 25kg) are CAA-approved training courses and will be the starting point for drone inspection pilots. heliguy™ delivers both of these courses.
Drones under 250g, like the DJI Mini range, do not officially require drone training, but if you are a business, we would encourage drone training to ensure you have a level of competency.
Speak to our in-house training team for further details and to discuss the best course for you.
