
DJI Mavic 4 Pro: Propeller and Guard Installation Guide
Step-by-step instructions for fitting and removing propellers and guards on the DJI Mavic 4 Pro safely and correctly.
In this guide, you'll learn how to:
Remove and replace propellers using the locking mechanism
Match and install propellers with the correct motor markings
Power off the aircraft and correctly attach left and right propeller guards
Confirm installation through prompts in the DJI Fly app

Removing the propellers
Firmly press the propeller cap down.
Rotate the propeller to unlock and remove the old blades.
Installing new propellers
Match the colour markings on the propellers with the corresponding motors.
Insert each propeller and press it down firmly.
Rotate to lock it into place.
Ensure all arms are unfolded before flight.
Propeller guard installation
Power off the aircraft before starting.
Identify the correct guards: LF and LB for the left side, and RF and RB for the right side.
Release the locks on the guards.
Attach the left-side guards under the front and rear arms.
Close the locks until you hear a click to confirm they’re secure.
Repeat for the right side using the matching guards.
System detection and flight
After installation, hover the aircraft.
A prompt will appear in the DJI Fly app confirming the propeller guards have been detected.
Once confirmed, the aircraft is ready to fly.
Removing the propeller guards
Open the lock on the propeller guard.
Press the buckle and separate the front and rear sections to detach the guards.
