Heliguy exhibits at inaugural Emergency Robotics Summit 2025

Heliguy attended the Emergency Robotics Summit 2025, organised by UKERRO, and showcased drone technology that benefits public safety operations.

heliguy™ exhibited at the first Emergency Robotics Summit 2025, organised by The United Kingdom Emergency Robotics Responders Organisation (UKERRO).

Taking place on April 26-27, 2025, at Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Training & Safety Centre, the event brought together practitioners, organisations, and industry, professionals to showcase the latest technology that benefits public safety operations.

It also served to develop emergency services’ robotics capabilities and response operations to save lives and minimise risk to responders.

heliguy™ exhibited a range of DJI drone hardware - such as Dock 3, FlyCart 30, Matrice 4T, and M350 RTK with the H30T payload. We also teamed up with our partners DroneControl and showcased the AirSkill simulator developed by AirHUD.

The heliguy™ team brought the state-of-the-art Drone Command Unit - featuring a dual operator workstation with built-in screens, space for DJI Dock with custom-made levelling trolley, welfare facilities, and equipped with Starlink ROAM for remote satellite connectivity.

The event featured presentations by national and international guest speakers covering a range of robotics topics. There were also workshops in disciplines such as SAR, USAR, law enforcement, submersible, ground, and flying skills.

UKERRO is a newly-formed organisation (Unincorporated Association) established by emergency services and volunteer search and rescue practitioner pilots. Membership is open to anyone with any of the following criteria:

  • Any individual above the age of 18, serving in the UK emergency services or volunteer organisation drone/robotics pilot/operator.

  • Any individual not in the above category, that the Committee believes will further the aims of the organisation.
