Full Description
DJI Matrice 200 Quadcopter - The Waterproof Enterprise Platform
The new Matrice 200 is a fantastic addition to any commercial operator's toolkit. The water resistant shell, FPV camera, and wide array of Zenmuse camera support make it a versatile quadcopter for enterprise use. Heliguy are a DJI enterprise dealer trained in repairing the Matrice 200 systems.
Matrice 200 FPV Camera
The Matrice 200 includes an FPV camera which will allow operators to keep an eye on the direction of their quadcopter at all times.
It will also allow a second operator to have full control over the camera used with the platform.

Multiple Camera Support
The DJI Matrice 200 features support for a range of cameras.
This flexibility allows you to use the Z30, X4S, X5S or Thermal XT (Thermal XTs purchased before April 2017 need a dealer update before being mounted to M200 call 0191 296 1024 for more details) with the M200, making data collection a breeze with one drone.

Dual Battery System
The Matrice 200 features a dual battery system to provide redundancy while in flight.
Supported batteries include the TB50 and High Capacity TB55.
The higher capacity TB55 will give the Matrice 200 a longer flight time, whatever camera setup is being used.

Built for Inspection
The Matrice 200 is DJI's best drone for inspections to date.
The range of supported cameras, the addition of FPV and the flight time all make this the best quadcopter on the market for inspections.

Drone Laws, Licences and Training Requirements
Until 31 December 2020
Where Can I Fly?
Drone pilots should follow the Drone Code, or permissions granted by their PfCO/standard permission.
Do I need to register my drone in the UK?
Yes. See the Drone and Model Aircraft Registration and Education Service page for more details.
After December 31 2020 (Transitional Period)
Where Can I Fly?
There can be no uninvolved people present within the area of flight; and there can be no flight within 150m horizontally of residential, commercial, industrial, or recreational areas (A3 subcategory of Open category).
Want more freedom? Complete a GVC (General VLOS Certificate).
How Do I Get a GVC?
Sit a GVC course with Heliguy. The GVC consists of a theoretical syllabus, followed by a multiple-choice examination.
Following completion of the course, candidates are required to produce an Operations Manual embracing the applicable Pre-Defined Risk Assessments (PDRA) and/or Standard Scenarios (STS).and will undergo a practical flight assessment with a flight examiner. Following completion, candidates will receive a recommendation for the issue of the GVC and can apply to operate under standard permissions. The GVC course is currently being run online through Heliguy Learning Management System.
Do I need to register my drone?
Yes. See the Drone and Model Aircraft Registration and Education Service page for more details.
What Happens If I Have a PfCO?
Holders of a standard permission valid beyond December 31 2020 can operate under the terms of the permission, until their renewal date. Then apply to fly under an Operational Authorisation (replacing the PfCO).
From January 2023 (End of Transitional Period)
The rules will change for DJI aircraft in their current form. Updated information released nearer the time.
