The M300 RTK comes with the DJI Smart Controller Enterprise. This device - similar to the popular Smart Controller for the Mavic Series - features an ultra-bright 5.5-inch 1080p display which maintains clear visibility, even in direct sunlight.

Thanks to the DJI Smart Controller Enterprise, pilots are assured of aviation-grade situational awareness. The drone has a new Primary Flight Display which integrates flight, navigation, and obstacle information.

Advanced Dual Control

The M300 RTK is protected by DJI Enterprise Care (Enterprise Shield), which covers against accidental damage caused by pilot error, signal interference, and collisions. It also covers against water damage.

The DJI Care Enterprise Basic comes free, as standard, with the M300 RTK. This package offers two replacements (with replacement fee).

Do I need to register the DJI M300 RTK?

Yes, the DJI M320 RTK V2 meets the criteria for UK drone registration. You can register here.

There are two requirements and you may need to meet both:

  • If you’ll fly, you must pass a theory test to get a flyer ID;
  • If you’re responsible for a drone or model aircraft, you must register for an operator ID.

It is against the law to fly without having the required IDs.

If you already have an Operator ID because you have already registered, remember to label the aircraft with your unique Operator ID.

Do I need drone training to fly the M300 RTK under new drone laws?

The new drone laws start in the UK and around Europe on December 31, 2020.

As part of this, the recommended training for the M300 RTK is completing a GVC course, which will enable you to apply for an Operational Authorisation (replacing the PfCO) to operate in the Specific Category. The Specific Category is geared towards the majority of enterprise drone operations.

The M300 RTK has an IP45 rating.

While this isn't a complete waterproofing, it does make the M300 RTK a robust aircraft which can handle a certain amount of rain and other challenging conditions.

In technical terms, its IP45 rating means that the drone is protected against solid objects greater than 1mm, such as screws and wires, and can withstand low-pressure jets of water from any angle.

  1. Before using, mark two TB60 Intelligent Flight Batteries as a pair that will always be charged/discharged together to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Do not charge immediately after a flight. Let the battery cool down to room temperature before charging.
  3. The ideal charging temperature of TB60 Intelligent Flight Battery is 15°C-40°C;
  4. The ideal storage temperature of TB60 Intelligent Flight Battery is 22°C-30°C. Make sure they are stored in an environment that is free of moisture and not in direct sunlight.
  5. If a battery won’t be in use for more than 10 days, discharge it until the battery level drops to 40% - 65%, and store it properly. Charge and then discharge the battery every three months to keep it healthy.

The operating temperature of the TB60 Intelligent Flight Battery is -20°C to 50°C. When the battery is used in a low-temperature environment, note that the battery life will be reduced. To optimise performance in the cold, it is recommended to warm the battery up to 15°C before use.

When charging the batteries in an environment between -20°C and 5°C, the self-heating function will be activated to raise the battery's temperature to above 5°C.

Once installed on the aircraft and the power is turned on, if the battery’s temperature is low, it will automatically self-heat to keep the temperature at about 16°C to 20°C.

Yes. Please refer to the user manual of the M300 RTK and upgrade the firmware of the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station.

Please note that different modes need to be selected when using the Mobile Station with the M210 RTK V2, Phantom 4 RTK, or M300 RTK.

The D-RTK 2 mobile station only supports one of the three models at a time. For more details, please refer to the user manual.

The M300 RTK obtains real-time differential data in the following two ways:

  1. By connecting to the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station (RTCM3.2).
  2. By connecting the remote controller to an NTRIP network RTK service through a 4G dongle or a WiFi hotspot (supports RTCM3.0/RTCM3.1/RTCM3.2).
