Heliguy is delighted to announce that our skilled technicians will be able to offer a full UK repair service for DJI Inspire 1
aircraft from the end of June. The popular, professional quadcopter with its 4K UHD camera and distinctive transforming undercarriage has been in great demand since its launch at the end of last year.
It’s proving to be a reliable aircraft for a huge range of applications and is a popular choice for new commercial pilots, many of whom come to Heliguy for the specialist training that leads to their Permission for Aerial Work
from the CAA. However, the majority of repairs that Heliguy come across is crashes caused by pilot error.
What are the common problems?
The vast majority of Inspire 1's have been trouble free and most technical inquiries to the Heliguy team have been about firmware upgrades, batteries and problems with electronic speed controllers.
Most of the snags with firmware appear to be down to operator error so don’t be frightened to phone for help – it may be something that can be fixed by a quick chat with our support team. Even if the Inspire has to come back to us, it’s normally something that can be turned around fairly quickly.
There were some problems early on with the Inspire’s TB47 smart batteries
failing. If they’ve been used according to instructions then they will be covered under warranty. The same is true with ESCs, although very early problems with those appear to have been ironed out.
How much for a DJI Inspire 1 Repair?
So how much is it going to cost to fix a crash damaged DJI Inspire 1? It’s a common question and, unfortunately, it is not an easy one to answer. We need to assess the damage and go from there. What you will be paying for is any replacement items and a technician’s time. Inspire 1 spare parts
can be found in our online store so, if you know what needs fixing, you can gauge the price from there.
How long until I get my crashed DJI Inspire 1 back?
Compared to other companies, including DJI themselves, Heliguy can get your Inspire 1 back to you in double quick time. With most repairs you will get your drone back around 5 working days after you sent it to us. This is much faster than the weeks or months it takes DJI themselves to repair and that’s important if you’re using your Inspire 1 for your business.
The best way to get your DJI Inspire 1 repair is to contact us first to so we can work out the best way to proceed. You can call us on 0191 296 1024
or email email@example.com
