Built-in Propeller Guards

DJI Avata was designed with a built-in propeller guard. This revolutionary new FPV design means that if Avata comes in contact with an object, it can bounce back, stay in the air, and can keep on flying.

Turtle Mode

If DJI Avata ends up on its back, activate Turtle mode with a few taps and watch it spring back into action like nothing happened.

Downward Obstacle Sensing System

In addition to the built-in propeller guard, Avata features downward binocular vision and ToF infrared sensing for even greater safety. These sensors detect obstacles below and allow Avata to perform low-altitude or indoor flight.

Low-Altitude Flight

DJI Avata can use its downward vision system to perform low-altitude flights just above the ground, combining the super-wide FOV and high-end camera to create a unique one-of-a-kind shooting perspective.

Halt and Hover

Use the Emergency Brake button if you come across a situation you don't feel comfortable flying through.

Avata will come to an abrupt stop and hover in place, reducing the risk of potential accidents and allowing you to plan your next manoeuvre.

Confined Space Inspection

Safe and efficient inspections with DJI Avata

DJI Avata is a fully featured and capable drone for confined space inspection tasks.

Built-in, consumer-replaceable, propeller guards allow DJI Avata to bounce back if it makes contact with an object, and turtle mode will allow the drone to self-right itself if it gets stuck upside down.

First-Person View Goggles allow operators to inspect detail and plan manoeuvres with total immersion and the downward obstacle sensing system assists with safe low-altitude or indoor flight.

Switch to manual-mode flight with DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 (sold separately) to unlock the full power of DJI Avata.
