Pocket 2 v Osmo Pocket
The DJI Osmo Pocket was a groundbreaking mini stabiliser when it was launched in November 2018.
But the release of the rebranded Pocket 2 has taken this tiny handheld gimbal series to another level.
While there's not much between the size of the gimbals, the Pocket 2 has some key enhancements. These include:
- Larger Sensor: Pocket 2 has a 1/1.7" sensor, compared to the Osmo Pocket's 1/2.3" sensor.
- Wider FOV: The Pocket 2 has a 93° FOV, compared to the Osmo Pocket's 80° FOV. The Pocket 2 has an f/1.8 lens, while the Osmo Pocket has a f/2.0 lens.
- Higher-res Images: Capture 16MP or 64MP images on the Pocket 2, compared to 12MP on the Osmo Pocket.
- New Audio System: The Pocket 2 has the newly-added DJI Matrix Stereo system to capture an immersive audio experience.
- Intelligent Features: Benefit from a wider array of intelligent features with the Pocket 2, including the updated ActiveTrack 3.0, ProMode, and the likes of Fast Wake and Drop Aware.
