To handle the large amounts of data from the ProRes codec and high frame rate videos, Mavic 3 Cine comes with a built-in 1TB SSD.
24mm equivalent autofocus prime lens (12.5 grams) has an 84° FOV to capture more details with sharp clarity.
Second camera features a 162mm tele lens with 28x Hybrid Zoom (7x optical) and aperture of f/4.4 for more dynamic perspectives.
Filmmaking and Media Production
Drones are transforming film and media production
Thanks to their portability, quality and flexibility, drones enable filmmakers to shoot dolly shots or complicated crane shots in minutes - a technique which would previously have taken many hours of setting up heavy equipment and costing the production thousands of pounds.
Industry professionals say that this combination has transformed the landscape for film and media production.
Take Phil Crothers, Director of Film and Co-founder of Pivotal. He has used the Inspire 2 and X7/X5S to shoot jaw-dropping scenes for production companies like Netflix, WarnerMedia, the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
Crothers saays “Drones have become a key tool for every filmmaker.”
Drones for Content Creators
Foldable, portable DJI camera drones
Thanks to their smart cinematic features and quality cameras, drones enable content creators of all abilities to capture stunning visuals.
The DJI Mavic drones are perfect for content creation on the go. This is especially true of DJI Mini drones, which offer powerful camera capabilities in a sub 250g frame.
Drones like the Air 2S and the Mavic 3 range provide a great balance between portability and power, while the Mavic 3 Cine offers that same power, combined with ProRes and CinemaDNG RAW video capture and increased SSD storage for these larger formats.
DJI PRO Ecosystem
Compatible with the DJI PRO Ecosystem to take content creation further
The remote monitor can pair directly with Inspire 3 to receive live feeds, and can even control gimbal and focus when the Ronin 4D Hand Grips are attached.
The HDMI and SDI ports on the remote monitor can also output live feeds to other monitoring devices.
Please note that the High-Bright Remote Monitor and the Ronin 4D Hand Grips are sold separately.
The HDMI and SDI ports are located on the DJI Remote Monitor Expansion Plate, which is sold separately.
The DJI Three-Channel Follow Focus can transmit control signals to Inspire 3 via the O3 Pro transmission system (this requires a DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor to act as an intermediary device).
With Three-Channel Follow Focus, the focus puller can achieve accurate remote focus control and stepless aperture adjustments to deliver an integrated wireless monitoring and control experience.
Please note that the DJI Three-Channel Follow Focus is available separately.
*When DJI Three-Channel Follow Focus is used with two DJI RC Plus remote controllers, the intermediary DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor must connect to the gimbal operator's RC Plus via HDMI and USB A-C cables. This enables piloting, gimbal control, and focus control to be done independently by the designated personnel.
When a DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor is paired as the second controller (as the intermediary to the PRO ecosystem), Inspire 3's gimbal can be controlled using DJI Master Wheels. In this way, it can provide a gimbal control experience on par with Ronin 2 to meet the operating habits of cinematographers.
Please note that DJI Master Wheels is available separately.
With DJI Transmission, the DJI Inspire 3 supports expanded monitoring on set. Connect an RC Plus to a DJI Video Transmitter with Broadcast mode enabled (transmission performance differs in Broadcast mode). Then, live feeds can be transmitted to an unlimited number of remote monitors, further improving coordination efficiency.
Please note that DJI Transmission is available separately.
The DJI Mic is a wireless microphone system that provides outstanding sound quality up to 250m away. With 5.5 hours of battery life for the transmitter, 5 hours for the receiver, and up to 15 hours with the charging case, content creators can record high-fidelity audio. It can be used as a wearable wireless microphone or attached to DLSR and mirrorless cameras.
The DJI Force Pro is an advanced camera movement control system designed for high-end filmmakers who demand precision when remotely controlling gimbals. This gimbal controller features an advanced IMU and built-in compass, offering operators the ability to replicate precise movements with latency as low as 10 milliseconds. DJI Force Pro features dual-frequency wireless transmission in 2.4 and 5.8 GHz, a built-in screen, dials and buttons for extensive control, up to five hours of battery life, and the ability to mount accessories, transmission systems, monitors, and is compatible with dedicated handles and various rigs and tripods.
